Meet our Chefs
George Allen Price, III was born & raised on his family farm in Franklin Parish. He graduated from Franklin Academy in 2000 & earned a bachelor’s degree in general studies from LA Tech University. He has been married to his wife, Lindsay for 7 years & they have 2 children, Ivey Lou (6) & George Allen Price, IV (2 mos). George has over 15 years experience as a PGA apprentice, teaching professional, golf course superintendent, club manager & also catering weddings, tournaments & club functions. George has a passion for hunting, fishing, golfing & especially cooking & entertaining! George’s roots run deep along the banks of Dave’s Bayou!
Brook Bembenick is an executive chef with impressive experience as a chef at the age of 25. She is a graduate of the Louisiana Culinary Institute in Baton Rouge. While there, she was selected to do an internship in Augusta, GA at the Augusta National Golf course. Following Augusta, she was hired and worked her way up to Sous Chef at Maru in Aspen, Co. She then moved to Seward, Alaska where she worked as a chef in a unique restaurant that was once an Alaskan railroad car. They specialized in “in-house” smoked meat products.
Brook was born into a military family and has lived in many exciting places, but she calls Delhi, LA her home.
Vickie Berry Phillips has over 8 years experience in Baking & Catering. She owns The Witchin Kitchen in Winnsboro, La. She specializes in amazing, decorated cakes & fabulous food for any occasion. Vickie believes in making everyone feel like family!
She is a Franklin Parish Native married for 30 years to Keith Phillips with two children and one beautiful granddaughter
